Adam Ray currently stars as Vince McMahon in NBC’s Young Rock, the series about Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s life. He was recently featured in Hacks on HBO Max and starred in the indie comedy The Bellmen alongside Thomas Lennon and Richard Kind. Ray has also made guest appearances on shows like Curb Your Enthusiasm, Arrested Development on Netflix, and season 2 of American Vandal. Upcoming projects include Hulu’s Pam & Tommy and Gaslit on STARZ, where he stars alongside Julia Roberts and Sean Penn.
Ray has been a regular on Lights Out with David Spade and is currently on The Adam Carolla Show. He’s well-known for his roles opposite Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy in Paul Feig’s The Heat, as well as for appearing in Feig’s Spy and the Ghostbusters reboot, where he voiced the character Slimer and played a supporting role. He co-hosted the comedy game show Separation Anxiety on TBS with Iliza Shlesinger and has guest-starred on 2 Broke Girls, Workaholics, Silicon Valley, and HBO’s Ballers. Ray was also part of the CW reboot of MADtv and appeared as Joey McIntyre’s manager in the POP Network’s Return of the Mac. His writing credits include MTV’s Punk’d, Adam Devine’s House Party, and the Mystery Science Theater reboot.
Ray is a headliner at top comedy clubs across the country and has appeared on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and Adam Devine’s House Party on Comedy Central. His voice work includes roles in Dreamworks’ Trolls, Adult Swim’s Rick & Morty and SuperMansion, Swift Wind in She-Ra on Netflix, and various voices in Tony Hale’s Archibald’s Next Big Thing. He also voices Ruben in Hulu’s Crossing Swords, starring Seth Green, Tony Hale, and Wendy McClendon-Covey.
